Rants Of A Future Curmudgeon

Rejecting Inoculations

I just read another article about a bunch of kids getting sick or dying because their parents, due to religious beliefs, refused to allow them to be inoculated.  The author conveyed a tone of frustration over the avoidable deaths.

I have a different take.  I think it a good thing that these idiot parents are keeping their brats from being immunized.  Why?  So that more of them will die off.  It’s not like the world is in desperate need of more children, you know?  Especially future religious zombies, as these offspring of bible thumpers are likely to become.

Let’s call it “non-survival of the unfittest.”  Hell, let’s make it even easier for dumbass parents to endanger their children this way.  We could do with some herd-thinning.

I agree with you completely. I would call it natural selection. It’s very simple really, even though it sounds harsh to say it. If the kids of these dumbass parents die, that means that the genes of these dumbass parents will be removed from the gene pool, plain and simple. I can’t believe how many idiots still cling to religious belief as a crutch to get through life. It’s the 21st century and there are still people that feel a need to believe that “God will take care of me”. It’s a load of bull, I don’t believe there is a God, I don’t believe there is an afterlife, and I certainly don’t believe in a God that says you can’t do whatever you have to do to ensure your children’s health and survival. Religion (God) was created by man as a way to keep his weaker fellow man in subjugation, to force him to conform to the norms of the stronger, and it deeply offends me, as a parent myself, to hear some moron say “God will provide” or some other nonsense like that. The worst atrocities in history have been carried out in the name of religion and it’s time for it to stop.

My name is John. I have opinions about everything, especially about how to solve world problems. Most of my rants have to do with the runaway stupidity on this planet. If you don't agree with my views, that's OK - it's a free country (kinda). Just don't mistake this site for a democracy!
